I · The Main Plot
Where We Start
The Twilight Ascent is nearing its end and Zac is tied to the Eveningtide Asura's plans. Port Atwood's army is also entering the Ensolus Incursion under Vilari.
Major Plot Points & Spoilers
- Uona Noz'Valadir steals the Splinter of Oblivion, leaving Zac with a Creation time bomb inside him. The wiki lists Zac absorbing a second Splinter at Ch 776 and Uona dying at Ch 777.
- A trap is set in the City of Ancients. Zac enters anyway and fights to the final battle. He places first in the final Ascent and earns The Final Twilight limited title.
- Zac exits the Twilight Ocean with nascent Realm Spirits. The Eveningtide Asura ascends to B-grade, destroying Twilight Harbor. The Draugr go to war with the Havarok Empire, with the Umbri'Zi Family taking the blame for Zac's actions and claiming him as Arcaz Umbri'Zi, a hidden lineal Heaven's Chosen.
- Zac is trapped in the Void and swallowed by the Orom, a mutated Voidcatcher about 40 million years old and a Starbeast Alliance member. He is imprisoned in the Orom World, a true realm inside its body with 500,000 cultivators and eighteen towns, and his attributes are capped at 1,000.
- Inside the Orom World he goes through his Second Soul Reincarnation, reaches level 129 and unlocks the hidden node Adamance of Eoz. He is taken in by the Monarch Heda, an arborist who sells him a plant armament, and the Monarch Pavina, who teaches him to use his chains.
- He learns Armament Mastery, which replaces Bulwark Mastery, and meets Kaldor, an undead Overlord who holds a Splinter of Oblivion. Over about three years he reaches level 140 with his mastery skills all at Peak.
- Zac forms the Dao Branch of the Kalpataru (from the Bodhi Fragment, Ch 822) and the Dao Branch of the Pale Seal (from the Coffin Fragment, Ch 825). Ogras works on his Shadewar Flag and Spiritlock Physique elsewhere.
- He wins his life-and-death duel with Kaldor for the Splinter, then takes a trial from Three Virtues (Buddhist Sangha) for the Shard of Creation. Iz Tayn descends with her uncle, the Peak Autarch Empyrean Mountain, to find Zac. Zac absorbs a third set of Remnants, is given the Boundless Vajra Sublimation, and makes a deal with the System to be teleported back to Earth.
Where the Book Leaves Off
Zac escapes the Orom World and goes back to Earth, leaving the Orom behind. As he leaves, the Orom whispers 'Ultom Courts, Left Imperial Palace'. Several years have passed on Earth.
