I · The Main Plot

Where We Start

The Risingshadow blurb opens deep underground, where To'Wrathh is waging war on the Undersider city of Capra'Nor and is one lethal strike from victory. Above ground, raiders threaten everyone and the clans need strong leadership.

Major Plot Points & Spoilers

  1. To'Wrathh has the city nearly defeated but is torn by doubts about her loyalty. She is haunted by what happened to earlier figures who turned against the Pale Lady and came close to succeeding.
  2. Her time is limited. Her older brother To'Aacar has already set his plans in motion, so she must take the city and deal with her disloyal thoughts soon.
  3. On the surface, the Deathless clan lord Atius is killed in a sinister plot, and with no one at the helm the people panic and look for any sign of stability.
  4. Keith must choose between standing with his clan and searching for his missing sister, his only remaining family. Kidra is somewhere below and Keith has no idea what awaits him.

Where the Book Leaves Off

The blurb gives no final-chapter detail. What is known is the starting position: Keith faces a choice between the clan and his sister, and the Book 4 blurb shows the conflict reaching To'Aacar and three Feathers sent by the Pale Lady. Read The Mite Forge for the aftermath.
