Where We Start
Alistair begins the book having defeated the Devil Kings Admiral and Dragonus, with his empire already badly damaged, and with the Devil King leader George Moulin still ahead of him (Rising Shadow teaser and Audible blurb).

Our sources carry only the setup blurb, so the final chapter is not recorded. Rising Shadow lists Book 4 as upcoming with a year-only 2027 date and Royal Road advertises it as being released rapidly, but no Book 4 blurb exists to check, so the bridge into it is unknown.
