Before You Dive In
The Hook & Setting
Setting: Pangera, a game-like fantasy world, seen from inside an ant colony in a Dungeon.
Tone: A light, humorous monster-evolution LitRPG with a ludicrous premise. One early Goodreads reviewer found the humor and sound effects too juvenile for adults.
System premise: A reincarnated human with a game-like system (levels, stats, skills) is reborn as an ant and has to grow himself and a colony through evolution.
The Magic System at a Glance
A LitRPG system with levels, stats, skills and evolution, where the protagonist plays a monster. The official series text also lists magic, but how it works is not described in our sources.
- Levels, stats and skills, starting with Bite and Dig
- Evolution of a monster protagonist
- Colony, party and army building
Commitment & Pacing
