Cultivation, Dungeon, LitRPG or System Apocalypse: Which Do You Reach For?

Which flavor of progression fantasy is your favorite, and what made you fall for it? Share what you've got, ask what you need, and tell us why. A sentence or two of reasoning is more useful than a bare title. House rules: tag spoilers with the book number (for example, "Book 7 spoilers") and keep to the reading progress you've set in the Spoiler Shield on each primer. Our book primers at /primers/ recap every published volume spoiler-bounded, so you can catch up without being ruined.
